Error Question
How do I troubleshoot this AMX-4 Series issue: Cannot calibrate kVp (gets hung), filament taps or filament current table (low filament error) etc., or load data in data base access properly, can’t enter calibration mode or getting false error codes displayed, after c?
Short Answer
Remove the two NOVRAM chips (U54 & U107) on the newer CPU Board and replace them with the two NOVRAM chips from the older CPU Board, if it is the same style of board. If the board is the “older” style of CPU Board that has only one NOVRAM chip, Then re-order a new CPU Board (Orderable Part # 46-264974G5 or 46-264974G6), or replace the NOVRAM chip(s) (Orderable Part # 46-230318P1)
Possible Causes
Problem: Cannot calibrate kVp (gets hung), filament taps or filament current table (low filament error) etc., or load data in data base access properly, can’t enter calibration mode or getting false error codes displayed, after changing out the CPU Board (part # T3497H, 46-264974G2 or later)
Troubleshooting Steps
